Es gibt rund sieben Milliarden Menschen auf der Erde. Auf ungefähr 195 Länder verteilt.
Man könnte sagen:"Wir sind alle doch Menschen!" Aber so einfach ist das nicht. Man könnte alle Kulturen der Welt studieren und würde trotzdem nicht alles Handeln und Denken der Menschen nachvollziehen können. Man könnte jahrzehnte lang durch die Welt reisen und würde trotzdem nicht alle Menschen genauso verstehen können wie die eigenen Landsleute (mal abgesehen von der Sprachbarriere). Man könnte auch den Rest seines Lebens in einer anderen Kultur verbringen und würde am Ende sich trotzdem fremd fühlen, weil man den man den einen oder anderen Witz doch nicht versteht, obwohl man schon fast vergessen hat die eigene Sprache zu sprechen weil man die neue so gut beherrscht. Oder, weil man immernoch ganz tief im Herzen seine eigene Kultur verankert hat.
Aber ist das nicht das faszinierenste an all diesen sieben Milliarden Menschen? Es ist was uns verbindet und unterscheidet. Menschen, mit ihrer Mentalität,Werte, Prinzipien, Religionen, ihre Sicht auf viele Dinge im Leben. Es sind Menschen mit einer ganz anderen Geschichte. Auch hier in Costa Rica.
Und diese möchte ich euch vorstellen :)
There are about seven billion humans on our planet. Distributed in approximately 195 different countries.
You could say:"We are all humans though!" But it is not that easy. You could study all different cultures on earth, but you would not understand every action or thinking of these people anyway. You could travel through many countries for years, but you would never understand these people like your own compariots (apart from the language barrier). You could spend the rest of you're life in another culture, but you would still feel foreign, because you didn't get the joke, even when you almost forgotten you're own language because you are so fluent. Or, because you're own culture is still deep seated in you're hearth. But isn't that the most fascinating thing about all these seven billion humans?
It binds or seperate us from one another. People, with their own Mentality, values, philosophies, principles and religions. People, with a completly different story behind them. Here in Costa Rica, as well.
And I want to introduce you to these people :)
